It used to be that we relied on outdated satellite data or spent tens of thousands on manned aircraft to create detailed maps. Using UAVs, Teledrone can create ground-referenced maps with survey-grade accuracy in less than a day (for up to 250 acres).

 

By taking oblique imagery we can even deliver a full topography with complete 3D models of structures and terrain.

 

As a client, you specify the data you need and the area that needs to be mapped. Teledrone will ensure that the proper permitting is in place and specialists will then plan the UAV flight together with your representatives. We will account for weather, obstacles, areas of interest and resolution requirements during flight planning.

 

The area to be mapped is physically walked and ground control points are placed in key locations.

 

We prefer to fly during times when the sun is highest in the sky or on overcast days to minimize shadow effects on imagery. We can capture up to 250 acres per day per UAV. The data is processed overnight and made available as soon as the day after the survey flights are flown. We can upload interactive maps online or in commonly used CAD formats as well as providing all raw data for reference.
